MAY 14-16, 2021 | OPEN STUDIO

Join me (in person!) for Art-A-Whirl® 2021! Check out my newest works, tour the gallery, browse my cards and support the arts in Northeast Minneapolis. For the first time since the pandemic began, I am opening my studio for appointment-based in-person visits, May 14-16. This is a great opportunity to buy the art you've been looking at online for the past year. Secure your appointment today before the time slots fill up!

NOTE: These appointments are for May 14-16, 2021. When selecting a date/time, please remember to advance the calendar! For booking purposes, I am scheduling appointments at 45 minute intervals. The first 30 minutes of your appointment are your time to browse, purchase, etc. and the last 15 minutes are for me to sanitize surfaces and complete other COVID-19 procedures before the next appointment.

TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE: If you book an appointment, please come (unless you are feeling ill). If you need to cancel for any reason, please call me as soon as possible at 231-590-2274 so that I may offer your appointment to another client. I would be happy to schedule a private appointment with you at a later time.

- Parties will be limited to a maximum of four (4) people per appointment to maintain appropriate physical distancing.
- All patrons must wear a mask to enter the studio. If you do not have one, I will provide you with one.
- Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance, please use it on the way in and on the way out.
- Do not come if you are feeling sick or if you have a confirmed exposure to COVID-19. Please call me to cancel/reschedule.

All prints in my shop are original works of art that have been designed and hand-printed by me. I use oil-based printing inks and Rives BFK paper, unless otherwise noted. Due to the nature of reduction woodcuts (the block is destroyed during the process), there will never be more prints produced beyond the listed edition number. When they sell out, I cannot make any more. Consider yourself warned! For other less limited printmaking techniques, such as single-layer woodcut, collagraph or drypoint, please know that I hold to the same ethic in regard to edition size.

Most works in my online shop are available for sale either framed or unframed. Large format works are only available for sale unframed due to the increased risk of damage during shipping. I custom frame each piece with acid-free matting materials, regular glass* and aluminum frames. I use white mats and black frames, intended to highlight the artwork. If you prefer a different mat/frame/glass style, please order unframed work and seek out assistance at your local frame shop.

Please note that UV glass is NOT required for protection of my prints. The use of any glass at all is solely to protect the piece from dust, moisture, puncture, etc. The pigments in my oil-based inks are just as light-fast as an oil painting on canvas. Would you place an oil painting behind UV glass? I didn't think so...

Please, no returns or exchanges on purchased prints. Contact me right away if you suspect any shipping damage. I cannot be held responsible for stolen packages.

Instructor Cancellations - If I must cancel a class for illness or emergency, you will be informed as soon as possible and your payment will be refunded in full. I assume no responsibility for any losses incurred due to lodging or travel arrangements.

Student Cancellations - A full refund (less a $10 cancellation fee) will be given for cancellations made at least seven days prior to the start of the workshop. Cancellations made within seven days of the start of the workshop will be given no refund. In this case, I encourage you to find a friend to take your seat!

All purchased unframed prints are securely packaged flat and sent via USPS Priority Mail for free within the United States. Some works are shipped via UPS on an as-needed basis. All framed works will be shipped via UPS. Smaller items like cards, git tags and calendars will be sent via USPS First Class Mail unless in combination with a larger order using a different shipping method. For other worldly destinations, please contact me first for a shipping quote before placing an order. Once payment is received, your order will typically be shipped within 5-7 business days, however, please allow up to 2-3 weeks for preparation and shipment of orders that contain framed prints. I am usually much quicker, but I will contact you if there are any delays on my end.

I also offer free local pickup... make an appointment to visit my studio for a physically distanced pickup and quick tour!

Orders placed within a 20-mile radius of my studio may also be personally delivered to you for free (physically-distanced, of course)! I reserve the right to ship via USPS or UPS (at no cost to you) depending on my schedule and availability.
