Seeping clean and clear from the clay cliffs of Lilydale, groundwater freezes upon emerging from its earthen source. Winter’s cold captures a story of water and time, drip by drip. Yet the record is incomplete, for come spring the icicled maw releases its grip and the evidence is lost to the Great River below.
