It has been a long time since I've seen the northern lights. Circumstance, city lights and cloud cover have thwarted my search in recent years. Yet on a recent trip to Northern Michigan, I spent a lot of time in a boat on the lake near my childhood home. One evening, as the sun set behind the trees of one of the lake's many islands, the glow transported me to younger days. I was a child again watching with wonder as cosmic lights danced green before my eager eyes. The muses had caught me and they demanded payment. Upon my return to the studio, Stardust was born!
